It is in the Florentine Romanesque style, and was built between 1059 and 1128, making it one of the oldest buildings in the city. 3 sets of bronze doors with relief sculptures are on the exterior. The south doors created by Andrea Pisano, and the east and north doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti. This panel is a depiction of 'David and Goliath'.
