Nanoparticles that are ingested (found in some cocoa powders, dairy desserts, sweets, white vinegar) make their way to the stomach and the small intestine. Some nanoparticles penetrate via the skin (present in some cosmetics, sun creams, shampoos, foundation cream, deodorants, band aids). These nanoparticles can enter the blood flow and lymph system and settle on a long term basis in the brain, liver, kidneys and heart causing allergic reactions, swelling and running the risk of causing cancer of the liver, kidney and heart. This has been proven in animals and questions about the effects on man can be raised.
