This is an undated feature photo of two horses riding in the back seat of a car in downtown Anniston, Ala. by former Anniston Star chief photographer Ken Elkins. Elkins died Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Anniston. A native of Marshall County, Elkins worked for more than 40 years as a photojournalist. He spent most of his career with the east Alabama newspaper before retiring in 2000. In 2005, Elkins published "Picture-Taker," a collection of 100 of his images.
