MJ." is to be sold at auction. The handwritten message (est: $800 - $1,200) is written on a Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, card from the hotel manager, Guy Planchette. Planchette's message has been crossed out. It was made when Jackson was in Monte Carlo in May 2000 for the 12th Annual World Music Awards. Also under the hammer as part of the Icons & Idols sale by Julien's Auction is a greeting card (est: $600 - $800) which reads: "I'm working soo [sic] hard I'm so worn out." The front of the card is an image of a child at the steering wheel of a truck. Other Jacko items at the Los Angeles sale from 1-4 December include colour transparencies showing the moment Elizabeth Taylor presented Jackson with Gypsy the female Asian elephant as a Christmas present.
