A man shops for vegetables in a shop in Berlin as the source of the enterohaemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) killer bacteria remained elusive on June 8, 2011. Germany announced that initial tests on suspected organic sprouts had proved negative and the outbreak's death toll grew to 23.
