The artworks are part of the Station Hill public art programme, which is being delivered by a joint venture between Lincoln Property Company and MGT Investment Management. They will form a new art trail across two acres of the Station Hill development, linking the station with the town centre. The installations represent a Ł1.5 million investment. The artworks include two colourful LED murals by Stuart Melrose and Kev Munday, titled 'Rivers, Ruins & Regency' and 'Royals, Residents & a Rock Festival.' These murals depict notable figures and landmarks from Reading's history, including King Henry I, Kate Winslet, and the Hexagon Theatre. Rachael Champion and Jonathan Trayte's 'Seed' sculpture, a marigold seed silhouette, references Reading's botany and brick making heritage. Station Hill is set to transform Reading.
