A fox stretches out on top of a trampoline in a throwback to the 2016 John Lewis Christmas advert. The fox seemed sleepy of its antics as it yawned on top of the trampoline in the garden of Surbiton, Surrey. The fox was in the garden of Dimitar Nedelchev who said, "At first I couldn't believe my eyes but then I laughed a lot. I happened to see the fox on the trampoline while I was in the kitchen. The first few times I saw the fox on the trampoline, I didn't photograph it with a camera, but with a phone I filmed and watched it. The decision to try photographing her with a camera came later." "It was only after taking these photos the John Lewis was pointed out to me. After watching it I laughed a lot as there is definitely a resemblance even though the fox never jumped on the trampoline but was playing. The very situation and expression of the fox are the things I like and the luck I had to capture them. The foix is a youngster, from this year's offspring." Please byline: Dimitar Nedelchev/Solent News © Dimitar Nedelchev/Solent News & Photo Agency UK +44 (0) 2380 458800 *** Local Caption *** 1. When and where were these photos taken? I took all the pictures in our garden in the house where we live. 2. What was it like to see that? Have you seen this before? At first I couldn't believe my eyes but then I laughed a lot. 3. How did you shoot the footage? Did you wait a while and did they mind your presence? I happened to see the fox on the trampoline while I was in the kitchen. The first few times I saw the fox on the trampoline, I didn't photograph it with a camera, but with a phone and just watched it. The decision to try photographing her with a camera came later. 4. Do you agree that it looks like the fox is trying to recreate the John Lewis Christmas advert from 2016? Did you think that then?! I definitely hadn't seen this ad but I laughed a lot after watching it and there is definitely a resemblance even though the fox never jumped on the trampoline but was playing. This can be seen well in one of the two videos I sent you. 5. What is your favorite thing about the photos? The very situation and expression of the fox are the things I like and the luck I had to capture them. 6. Any other information we'd like to know? The fox in the photos and video is the same and is a young specimen of this year's generation.
