BEAR NECESSITIES! This brown bear cub shares a tender moment with its mother as they appear to share a kiss. The adorable moments were snapped by Valtteri Mulkahainen in Martinselkonen, Finland. The 63 year old teacher said, “This cub was always close to its mum. The other two were very boldly walking about 20 metres away.” “It looks like the mum is kissing her baby before it goes to sleep. Afterwards, they did just that. When and where were these pictures taken? The photos were taken last summer in Martinselkonen in taiga Finland. 2. What kind of bears are they? They are brown bears. 3. How did you take the pictures? Did you wait for a while and did they object to your presence? I was in a shelter in the taiga and waited for the bears for about an hour. They did not see me. 4. Would you agree that it looks like the cub is sharing a kiss with an adult? Do you know if this is the mother/father of the cubs? This is a female bear with a cub. This cub was always close to mom, the other two were very boldly walking 20 meters away from mom. 5. What do you like most about this footage? I really liked that the bears behaved like humans. It seemed to me that the mom kissed the baby before going to sleep. After that they retired to the taiga to sleep. 6. Any other information we would like to know? The cubs behave like little children. They play among themselves and sometimes fight and wrestle. Sometimes mommy has to separate them when they start fighting.
