Holocaust survivor Elena Zhabina, 82, poses at her home in Noginsk, on December 10, 2024. Elena Zhabina was born on May 20, 1942 in Shchigry, Kaluga region. Zhabina was seven months old when her family was taken in 1942 to the Klooga concentration camp in Estonia, a subcamp of the Vaivara concentration camp complex established in September 1943, after a two-month journey.
