The polar bears seem to be dancing, YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK, UK TENSE IMAGES of two polar bears squaring up for a fight have been captured.
Images show the hefty polar bears calmly approaching each other on their hind legs before baring their teeth and erupting into a fist-fight.
These images were captured by photographer Gary Cox (54) from Manchester, England.
Gary captured polar bears at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, UK on his Canon EOS 80D.
“They are huge animals and one of nature's real man hunters,” said Gary.
“They are a sight to behold and obviously incredibly powerful.
“The two bears walked up and stared at each other.
“They then both stood on their hind legs in a true face off moment.
“They then did a mixture of wrestling and dancing.
“It is the first time I have seen this but they do play fight together a lot. Mostly in the water.
“I love a bit of action so I was transfixed by their face off.
“The bears facing off is one of my favourites.
“They are not usually in zoos either, so being able to see them in Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a treat.”
