A human is restricted in a cage and suckles her baby as part of a controversial art installation while a character plays the role of a farmer and addresses passers-by. The installation 'The Human Farrowing Crate' sited outside the Saatchi Gallery in London's Chelsea brings together a collaboration between Stephanie Lane and the Animal Justice Project merging arts with activism. The event encouraged members of the public to engage in discussion about the barbaric common practice of the pig farming industry. The message is clear if it's not okay for humans it's not okay for pigs. They demand an end to speciesism immediately.
