Dried and groom! Besotted boyfriend proposes to girlfriend while stuck on roof car during flood
A besotted boyfriend popped the question to his girlfriend while the couple were stuck on the roof of a flood-hit car.
Ashley Stevens, 22, and Davie Woodley-Kingston, 24, were celebrating their first anniversary when their motor got swamped.
The pair took to the roof of their car and phoned for help.

"I thought to myself that it would be memorable and so I just went for it."
Rescuers from Taunton fire station arrived after about half an hour and pulled the couple from Southampton, Hants, to safety.
The firefighters were able to get the BMW out of the water and, incredibly, it started first time.
Davie proposed again properly later that evening and gave Ashley her engagement ring which he’d been keeping at the Airbnb.
The flowers he bought for the occasion also survived, despite being in the car boot.
He added: "The fire brigade was fantastic - a real bunch of top class gentlemen.
"After the most beautiful and eventful weekend I couldn’t be happier.
"I’m so happy to be embarking on the next chapter of our lives with Ashl
