MAGICAL MISTY AUTUMN MOMENT A FAWN AND HERON SHARE SOME TIME BY A POND WITH PIX By Magnus News Agency This is the magical moment a young deer and a heron appeared to make friends one misty morning in an English deer park. As these photographs from Wesley Chambers show, the fawn fallow deer and waterfowl shared a spot around 7.30am in Bradgate Park, Leics. The park itself can trace its roots back to the 12th century and the population of red and fallow deer are believed to come from stock originally introduced by the Normans. Mr Chambers used a Nikon Z8 70 with a 200mm lens and teleconverter when he photographed the tranquil scene on Monday September 16. He said: When I noticed the heron and fawn so close to each other in the morning light it was a magical moment. “The heron didn’t seem to mind the fawn so close and I managed to get a few different shots of them together. “The fawn was the first to go which surprised me, and we all had a good 10 minutes together.” ENDS //MAGNUSNEWSAGENCY_magnus_deer_heron_5/Credit:Magnus News/SIPA/2410081216
