Tugging at the food bag attached by the zoo workers.
UK A STUNNING Syrian bear has been snapped looking blissfully happy while hugging a tree.
The bear was captured smiling and standing up with its arms around the trunk of a tree.
In other images, the bear is seen having a yoga stretch and striking unique poses while trying to get into a sack full of food.
Photographer, Nikki Rowley-Todd, took these pictures at Hamerton Zoo Park.
Syrian bears are the only known subspecies of bears in the world to have white claws.
They are rather small in size with adult males weighing up to 1,102 lb and measuring up to four feet in length from nose to tail.
Nikki travels far and wide to capture these unique moments of animals that are rarely seen anywhere else.
“I loved photographing this bear, she gave me such wonderful poses and expressions, it seemed like I was carrying out her personal photoshoot,” she told mediadrumworld.com.
“After getting the bag down from the tree and bear seemed to just enjoy the rubbing against the trunk itself, the bag filled with food long forgotten.
“I photographed her for about half an hour using my Nikon D5600 camera with a Sigma 150-600mm lens.”
