ARIZONA Images show the statuesque birds on top of a telegraph pole having a disagreement. Known as Bandit and Misty in their local area of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Misty is Bandit’s third life partner following the deaths of his previous two companions.
Bald eagles in Arizona have seen a significant population increase since they were listed as endangered in 1978.
Amongst many, the Arizona Bald Eagle Nestwatch Program is a program that protects bald eagles and their nests from human and natural disturbances during breeding season.
Nest watchers collect data on the eagles' nesting habits, habitat usage, and life history.
The program also educates the public about bald eagles.
The funny images were snapped by Mark Koster, a wildlife photographer from Scottsdale, Arizona.
“I had noticed Bandit a few years back in the area and have been trying to document his life ever since.
“Misty is Bandit’s third partner, the previous two passed away before Misty swooped in and charmed Bandit.
“I love capturing this couple, sometimes fighting, sometimes sharing the love and bonding together, it’s very surreal to observe.”
