Kids toy 'diversity’ dolls with Down's syndrome, hearing aids and glasses launched
A toy brand has launched a new line of 'diversity' dolls with Down's syndrome, hearing aids and glasses.
Toy manufacturer, Nenuco, has released an 'inclusion' collection and each doll has visible disabilities.
The range of three dolls cost £20.84 (24.95 euros) each, as reported by What's the Jam.
Each one comes complete with different characteristics such as glasses, eye patches, a cochlear implant and Down's Syndrome.
The inclusive dolls are being advertised at Spanish department store, El Corte Inglés.
One doll belonging to the Diversity Line wears a green hearing aid and a pink dress covered in rainbows.
Another toy wears pink glasses and is part of the Diversity and Inclusion collection.
She comes complete with two patches of different colours so children can take care of her eyesight.
A third doll has Down's Syndrome and also belongs to the Diversity Line.
She is 35 cm, has a hard body and blond hair adorned with a pink bow, matching a pink dress with flowers.
The doll is aimed at two to six-year-olds.
The new diverse dolls can also drink and wee.
According to Nenuco's website, the brand is the most famous baby doll in the world for girls and boys of all ages.
