VIDEO: British women bags hotel room with unbelievable view – you won’t believe how much it cost
A British woman couldn’t believe her eyes when she opened her hotel room curtain to discover a natural wonder just outside.
And viewers online have been left just as stunned.
Lyndsay Johnson, from Nottingham, recently treated herself to a trip across the pond to explore the US and Canada.
This included spending a night at Niagara Falls.
Although the site is known for its immense beauty, Lyndsay hadn’t expected to see much of it from her hotel.
In a viral video that has received almost 600,000 views, she shows off what looks like a fairly ordinary room.
But after panning to the bed, she points the camera at the window.
As Lyndsay turns the light off, the camera reveals a breathtaking view of Niagara Falls at night.
Even more amazingly, she spent just £220 ($287 USD) for the room.
“When I arrived at the hotel it was evening and dark outside, and the curtains in my room were closed,” Lyndsay, from Nottingham, told Luxury Travel Daily.
“I stood in front of them and wished out loud that the view would be good, but nothing could have prepared me for how spectacular it was when I eventually opened the curtains.
“The horseshoe falls were right outside my window; it was magical and everything I hoped for – I burst into tears!”
Lyndsay couldn’t believe how lucky she had been to experience such a view for such a low cost.
Social media viewers have been left just as mesmerised.
One person wrote: “I would not be sleeping, you'd just see me at the window.”
Another user said: “I was expecting a fail! They way my jaw dropped. (sic.)”
“Might be the best view I’ve ever seen from a hotel,” added Dan.
Alex commented: “OMG!!! That’s the best view ever, I would pay every penny and more for that.” [sic
