Millions of mauve stinger jellyfish have invaded Sennen Cove in Cornwall this week and have stung multiple people. TAKEN ON 09//09/24. Millions of pretty pink glow in the dark jellyfish have invaded a Cornish beach after a freak wind blew them into a cove to sting surfers and swimmers. The creatures known as mauve stingers appeared at Sennen Cove this week, in an event which has not been seen in the area for decades. Dave Muir, 40 who runs the Sennen Surfing Centre which is on the beach itself, said: "In all my 20 years of running the surf school I have never seen this kind of jellyfish.
