The usual Pup-Spects - Photographer creates Peaky Blinders-inspired mugshots of man's best friend A photographer has created hilarious mugshots of man’s best friend inspired by the hit crime show Peaky Blinders. The amazing idea features vintage-style pictures of dogs looking like early 20th century criminals. The smash hit Peaky Blinders series has inspired many humans to copy the fashion of flat caps, waistcoats and haircuts from the criminal underworld from the 1920s. And now this collection of photographs releases the hounds into the genre with the dogs posing remarkably like they have just been arrested by the Old Bill. As these images show, each dog has been given a unique ‘crime’ for which they will be hauled up before the judge. In one picture, dachshund Coco is seen looking shifty posing for a mugshot after being arrested for “undisclosed suspicious activity”. And in another photo, a chocolate Labrador called Toblerone is in the dock for the heinous crime of “killing the bed, blinds and plants”. Perhaps the most chilling canine crook in the lineup is a Pomeranian named Lucifer who has been taken in for committing “all of the crimes”. Sammy, aged 36, a photographer from Llangollen, North Wales, is the artist behind the creations which she has now made into a deck of cards, perfect for aspiring crime gangs to bet on during an evening. She said she was inspired to start the “Cheeky Barkers” project by her own dog and then the idea exploded from there. She said: “She (the dog) was caught pickpocketing some snacks from my jacket. Upon sharing this story, it was apparent many of my clients’ dogs had similar cheeky crimes. “My background is in analogue photography.
