One of Britain's cheapest houses is for sale for just £15,000.
And buyers could make back on rent income in less than three years.
The empty, two-bed detached property has some wood and masonry left in the rooms.
There is also a fence panel dumped on the patio.
It needs a bit of general TLC.
The bargain house in Boldon Colliery, Tyne and Wear, is on a residential road close to local shops and amenities.
And it is within easy reach of the open spaces of Hedworth Park.
It has a reception room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, plus a rear yard.
According to property experts, Zoopla the estimated rental value of the house is £5,684.64 per year.
It means buyers could get their initial outlay back by 2027.
With a 10 per cent deposit of £1,500 – at a 5% interest rate over 25 years – Zoopla calculates mortgage repayments of just £78 per month.
The house is being auctioned by Auction House London tomorrow (1 Aug), as reported by Luxury Property News.
Boldon Colliery is one of three villages that make up The Boldons – the others are East Boldon and West Boldon.
It dates back to the 1870s and was named after a mine that began producing coal in 1869 and was then known as Boldon New Winning.
The mine closed in 1982, but more jobs arose when an Asda supermarket opened in 1987.
Boldon Colliery also has its own multi-screen cinema operated by Cineworld.
