A parched bird looks delighted to have found a drink of water as it is perfectly reflected on a small pond. The Eurasian stone-curlew was spotted taking a drinking break in the West Negev desert in Israel. Haim Mizrachy said, “The West Negev is a hot desert with little water. Are they common here? *** Yea, correct. They are common in ISRAEL. · Can you describe what is happening in these images? ***In the hot desert, where there is not much water, the birds and the animals are looking for it and come to drink in such place with water. · Can you give us an insight into the moments leading up to this as well as directly after? *** I arrived at the hideout in the hours of darkness so that the birds do not notice me and stay for several hours to capture the special moments. · How were you able to capture these images? ***In a small village in the desert, a lady built a pond and hideout to photograph the birds that come to drink. · Is there any more information you would like us to include? ***no. · And finally, what is your preferred full name, age and occupation? ***HAIM MIZRACHY age – 66.
