The Sossusvlei is a clay valley in the middle of the Namiba Desert. The valley is part of the Namib-Naukluft National Park in Namibia. Fed by the Tsauchab River, the area is known for the tall, red sand dunes that surround it, turning it into a vast sea of sand.
