Wazwan is a multi-course traditional Kashmiri meal that is commonly served at weddings and other celebratory events. It includes dozens of meals, ranging from Rista and Rogan Josh to Kebabs cooked mostly from lamb. Wazwan is considered an art form and a source of pride in Kashmiri culture and identity. Almost all of the recipes are meat-based, employing lamb or chicken, with a few vegetarian dishes. It is widely popular in Kashmir and around the world.
