Legendary hunter Papa Baron Missiki, 91, poses for a photo with a crocodile and his spear on a pirogue on the Congo River in DR Congo on April 7, 2024. At 91-years-old, Papa Baron Missiki, has hunted crocodiles as well as buffalos, antelopes, elephants and hippopotomasus. He is now retired but his son - also called Missiki - follows in his footsteps.
The fishermen are proud to belong to this community, and recount their stories from years gone by with nostalgia.
