LVIV, UKRAINE, APRIL 27: Participants are trained as they take part in the Kordon Race 2024, a military-style obstacle course competition with master classes in tactical medicine, mine safety, canine training, and the opportunity to shoot a javelin with VR simulators in Lviv, Ukraine, on April 27, 2024. The goal of the competition is to adapt civilians to life in a country at war, which involves knowledge of the rules for dealing with mines, the ability to provide medical aid, and knowledge of how to protect oneself from concussions. The event is organized with the support of the State Border Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment. In addition to military personnel, war veterans undergoing rehabilitation, civilians, and children participate in competitions in separate categories.
