Photo: Wojciech Olkusnik/East News People Amid scuffles with Marshal Guard (which guards the Polish Parliament) former ministers and members of Polish Parliament Maciej Wasik and Mariusz Kaminski tried with the help of other members of Law and Justice party to enter the premises of Sejm (lower house of the Parliament) on February 7, 2024 in Warsaw, Poland. Wasik and Kaminski who are members of the Law and Justice party were in December 2023 convicted for two years of prison for abusing their powers during a corruption investigation, when they served as heads of the Central Anticorruption Bureau. Both politicians had their parliamentary seats taken away after the court's final verdict.
