The center of the town is full of numerous monuments and incredible places such as the Ducal Palace, the Arco de la Rosa or the convents of Santa María, Santa Clara or Las Mercedarias, or the wide Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Another of its treasures is an impressive collection of paintings by one of the most renowned Spanish artists of the 17th century, Francisco de Zubarán from Extremadura, which can be seen, along with other works of sacred art, in the Zurbarán Museum, located in the inside the parish of San Juan Bautista.
