A strange card UK. A RARE AND RUDE Christmas card by one of the world’s most notorious artists is now on sale for Ł500.
The Christmas card is by the England-based street artist, political activist and film director known as Banksy.
In the picture, it shows a snowman in a strange position with another snowman while a cigarette hangs out of his chops and a little boy looks on in disgust.
If you’d like to get your hands on one of these ill-mannered cards, it will cost you a pretty penny as the item is listed for Ł499.
The listing reads: “Banksy rude snowman Christmas card, very rare.
“I obtained a few of these from the pop up exhibition in Soho coming up to 20 years ago and I’m selling one.
“Mint, unfolded, condition as new. Measures 14.5 x 35 cm. Sadly I don’t have the original purchase receipt.
“Open to reasonable offers, any questions message me.”
Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based street artist, political activist and film director whose real name and identity remain unconfirmed and the subject of speculation.
Active since the 1990s, his satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique.
His works of political and social commentary have appeared on streets, walls and bridges throughout the world.
Banksy's real identity has never been revealed, but the interview gives his fans, which include many A-list celebrities, a rare chance to hear his voice.
