A worker sorts through thousands of cobs of corn as he looks to turn them to dry in the sunshine. He was observed rotating the corncobs in Bogra, Bangladesh by student Abdul Hamid. Abdul 23, said, "There were many workers here busy drying the corn in the sun. The workers are picking out dry corn or rotating those still drying. After drying in the sun for four or five days in the open field, it is ready for sale. These workers can work a stack of nearly half a tonne of corn at any one time." "Corn is sold at around £185 per tonne. The corn will be processed and ground down into flour to make bread and various food products. A male worker earns £3.45 after a full day's work."
