AN ADORABLE image of a naughty tusker playing peek a boo with ears has been captured.Images show the playful 11,023 pounds male bull elephant blowing off some dust before covering his eyes with his flappy ears.The tusker had recently lost one of his tusks in a fight with another tusker.Since 1986, the Asian elephant has been listed as Endangered on IUCN red list as the wild population has declined by at least 50% since the 1930s to 1940s, i.e. three elephant generations.Indian elephants have smaller ears, but relatively broader skulls and larger trunks than African elephantsThese images were captured by Arvind Karthik B (31) at Bhadra Tiger Reserve in Karnataka, India , using a Canon 5D mark iv camera.“A sound of a huge tree breaking alerted us and then we heard the rustling of leaves and smelled the damp mud,” said Arvind.“We saw a huge bump and then a single tusker in dust emerged.“I was told that he had a fight with another tusker and lost one of his tusks.“I’ve never seen such a huge tusker in my life.“He had wounds all over and still walked like a champion and dust bathed around.” mediadrumimages/ArvindKarthik
