A loving kiss. Indonesia: LOOKING like a movie poster this loving lizard can be seen leaning over as if it was about to kiss its slimy snail friend.
One image shows the lizard staring down at the snail, sharing an unspoken bond.
The red-eyed crocodile skink was discovered in 1909 in New Guinea. They can grow to be 10 inches long and can live up to ten years.
These images were captured by photographer Yan Hidayat (44) in Padang West Sumatra, Indonesia, using a Nikon D90 camera.
“To be close to the lizard was very enchanting, what else to see the texture of his body which is very beautiful,” said Yan.
“There is a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction with the results of this photo.” mediadrumimages/YanHidayat
